Settings
The Settings page controls how Postli tracks conversions, attributes revenue, and schedules posts. Changes take effect immediately for new posts and clicks.
Timezone
Sets the timezone used for scheduling posts and displaying dates throughout the app. Postli auto-detects your browser’s timezone on first load. If you manage a store in a different timezone, override it here.
Weekend days
Select which days of the week are considered “weekend” for scheduling purposes. When the post composer suggests optimal posting times, it avoids these days. Default is Saturday and Sunday, but some markets (e.g. Middle East) may prefer Friday and Saturday.
Conversion tracking
Toggle Conversion tracking on or off. When enabled, Postli serves a lightweight JavaScript snippet at /t/script.js that you add to your Shopify theme. The script:
- Sets a
_pl_clickfirst-party cookie when a visitor arrives via a Postli short link. - Fires lead events (add-to-cart, page views) via
POST /t/lead. - Enables revenue attribution by matching the cookie to Shopify orders.
The Settings page shows the current embed status of the tracking snippet in your Shopify theme (installed, not installed, or checking). Click Check status to re-verify, or Install automatically to have Postli inject the snippet via the Theme App Embed API (no code editing required).
Attribution model
Choose how revenue is credited when a customer clicks multiple short links before purchasing:
Multi-touch models are gated by your plan. If you downgrade, the model reverts to last-click.
Attribution window
The number of days after a click during which a purchase can be attributed to it. Default is 7 days. Increase to 30 days for longer consideration cycles (e.g. high-ticket products).
Cookie duration
How long the _pl_click tracking cookie persists in the visitor’s browser. Default is 30 days. This should be equal to or greater than your attribution window.
_pl_click cookie is first-party and contains no personal data. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
