Products
The Products page syncs your Shopify product catalog into Postli so you can generate short links for product pages and post them to social media with one click — no manual URL copying needed.
Product list
The page displays a searchable table of your Shopify products. Each row shows the product image, title, vendor, product type, and whether a short link has been generated. Use the search bar to filter by title or vendor.
Per-product actions
- Generate short link — creates a Postli short link pointing to the product’s Shopify storefront URL. The link is stored against the product so you never have to create it twice.
- Post to social — navigates to the post composer with the product’s title, description (HTML stripped), featured image, and short link pre-filled. The product link is added as an instant auto-comment (not in the main caption — better for social algorithm engagement).
- Copy short link — copies the product’s short URL to your clipboard.
- Sync product — re-fetches the product data from Shopify (title, description, image, price) to ensure it’s up to date.
Sync all products
Click Sync products at the top of the page to trigger a full background sync of your Shopify catalog. This runs as a queue job — large catalogs (1,000+ products) may take a few minutes. A success toast confirms when the sync completes.
Product lookup uses
shopify_product_id. Postli matches products by their Shopify product ID (not the database primary key), so re-synced products are always correctly associated even if the internal ID differs.
