Posts
The Posts page lists every social post you’ve created in Postli. Each post has a single master record (the source of truth for content and media) plus one channel post per target platform. Channel posts can override the master with platform-specific copy, media, or schedule.
Posts list
The list view shows all posts with their title, content preview, status, connected platforms, and scheduled date. Filter by status (Draft, Scheduled, Publishing, Published, Failed) and platform to narrow results. Posts are paginated.
Actions: Click a post to open its detail page. Delete posts with the trash icon (confirmation required).
Create a post
Click Create post to open the post composer. The composer has three main areas:
Master content (left column)
- Title — internal label for the post.
- Content — the main caption/body. A rich text composer supports emoji and mentions. The AI Assistant button can generate copy from a prompt or optimize existing copy for tone, length, or engagement.
- Media — attach images or video from your media library or upload new files. Drag to reorder multi-image posts.
- Link — select a short link to include. The link is auto-appended to the content (or posted as an instant auto-comment depending on platform best practices).
- Auto-UTM — when enabled, Postli appends
utm_source={platform},utm_medium=social, andutm_campaign={post_id}to every URL at publish time.
Channel tabs (right column)
Toggle on the platforms you want to publish to. Each platform gets its own tab showing a live preview of how the post will look on that platform (respecting character limits, media ratios, etc.).
Click the lock icon on a channel tab to unlock it and override:
- Content — rewrite the caption for that platform (e.g. shorter for X, hashtag-heavy for Instagram).
- Media — swap in platform-specific images or video (e.g. 9:16 vertical for TikTok, square for Instagram).
- Schedule — set a different publish time per platform.
- Platform settings — privacy level, disclosure flags, comment toggles, etc. (varies by platform).
Locked channels inherit from the master at publish time.
Schedule & publish
Set a date and time for the post to publish. The timezone is shown based on your Settings. Click Save & schedule to queue the post. Postli’s queue worker publishes at the exact scheduled time.
To publish immediately, leave the schedule blank and click Publish now.
Auto-comments
Postli can automatically post a follow-up comment on your published post. Three condition types:
- Instant — fires immediately after publish. Most commonly used for product-link comments (keeping the link out of the main caption for better algorithm performance).
- Time — fires N minutes after publish.
- LikeCount — fires once the post reaches a threshold of likes/reactions.
Auto-comments are configured per channel post. Not all platforms support comment publishing via API (TikTok, Pinterest, Google Business do not).
Post detail
Clicking a post opens its detail page showing:
- The master content and media
- Each channel post with its status (Draft, Scheduled, Publishing, Published, Failed)
- Published platform post IDs and links to the live post (where available)
- Engagement metrics (likes, comments, impressions) pulled periodically from the platform
- Publish logs showing the exact API calls and responses
Actions from detail: Edit the post, retry failed channel posts, reschedule, or publish individual channel posts manually.
